Al took the time to perform a detailed
computer analysis of my swim stroke, breaking
down each part of my stroke and providing
feedback on exactly how I could improve it, as
well as providing video examples comparing me
with elite swimmers, side by side, so that I was
truly able to understand the changes I needed to
make.
After an initial adjustment period and a
few weeks of performing drills and making the
adjustments that Al recommended I am swimming
faster and feel stronger than ever before. Thanks Al!

Al, Thanks so much for the swim video and commentary.
The video was very, very helpful and the commentary/coaching was invaluable.
I knew my catch was off cause I can feel it but without seeing myself swim or
having someone who knows what they are doing actually critique me I could never be sure that what I was trying to adjust my stroke in the water was actually getting to the problem.
Tonight, I head to the pool to begin to work on adjusting my stroke. Maybe this year I will actually beat my husband in the swim portion of the NYC triathlon.....
Thanks again, Barbara Goodrich
In 2008 Coach Al prescribed the perfect training plan to help me qualify for the Boston Marathon during my second ever marathon attempt.
The plan was perfect for a busy, sleep-deprived mother of two very young children. Plenty of drills, stretching, and quality runs versus quantity. The plan worked like a charm, qualifying me with 15 minutes to spare.
Fast forward one year. In only a few short weeks I would run my first Boston Marathon (my third marathon). I had worked hard on my running form and corrected many things Coach Al suggested to help me run stronger with less effort. The week before Boston I was feeling an agonizing, throbbing pain in my right hamstring. I had been stressing my hamstring during strength training without knowing it.
I reached out to Coach Al once again for advice. He asked me to send him some home-video of me running via email.
What he sent back was AMAZING.
Not only had he analyzed my hamstring issue, he sent an on-screen analysis complete with video, mark-ups about my form, and audio. Side-by-side with my running form video from two years prior he told me exactly what was going on with my hamstring and ways to correct it.
With just a few minor tweaks and backing away from my tendency to over-stretch my hamstring,
I ran Boston Marathon with no pain, hit no wall, and felt stronger than ever before.
Thank you Coach Al!
