Why do I feel this is THE breakthrough learning tool?

In my opinion, it is absolutely essential to have a clear picture in your MIND'S EYE of what a swimming skill should look like, before you can then go to the pool and work to improve it on your own!

This is how we learn as humans - creating a mental picture and then going about trying to repeat or recreate that picture. If you don't have a coach, on deck, to show you, and continually reiterate to you how "this or that" should change (to improve your efficiency, balance, or power) within your stroke, then how on earth are you going to improve? Even when you do have a coach on deck, you are only with them for a short time.

When you own this CD, you can watch each drill and stroke (dozens of them!) performed perfectly, over and over and over, as often as you like, in slow motion or regular full speed (stop and pause too), and then take the written word you have and put the two together, to finally and truly understand what it is you are seeking in terms of change, and improvement.

Of all the training tools I have come across in all of my years of coaching and training, this is at the top of the heap as being the best. I highly recommend this CD and consider it an essential element to any triathlete's swim training toolbox.
